Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.
Bill Pakalka is a partner in the Houston office of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P., joining the firm in 1973. He focuses his litigation practice on antitrust, RICO, contracts and agreements, securities, general business, white collar crime, energy, and oil and gas matters.
Bill was a law clerk from 1972 to 1973 for the Honorable Irving L. Goldberg of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. From 1981 to 1982, he served as Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas in the appeal of Ruiz v. Estelle, the longest civil rights trial in U.S. history.

While attending law school, Bill was a member of the Order of the Coif and Phi Delta Phi. He was the Comments Editor of the Texas Law Review. Bill was admitted to practice law in 1972, and is admitted to practice law in the all federal Districts in Texas, the United States Courts of Appeals for the First, Fifth, Eighth and Eleventh Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.
