Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. Senior Associate Tarifa B. Laddon joined the Los Angeles office in 2005. While primarily based in Los Angeles, Tarifa spent a year practicing in Fulbright's New York office, as well as a year in Fulbright's London office. She focuses her practice on a diverse range of complex business litigation, including unfair business practice claims, business torts, labor and employment, wage and hour and consumer class action defense, as well as public sector litigation.
- Defense of transportation company in California employment class action alleging $2 billion in damages; class certification motion was denied
- Defense of international bank in multiple federal and state class and individual actions in tax-shelter related litigation
- Defense of water district in environmental/water rights dispute
- Represented financial services company in a regulatory investigation
- Defense of national retailer in multiple California class and individual wage and hour disputes

While attending law school at the University of Michigan, Tarifa served as Articles Editor and Selection Committee Member for the Michigan Journal of Gender & Law.
Tarifa was admitted to practice law in California in 2005. She has also been admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern District Courts of California.
Tarifa was also qualified to practice as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2010.
Tarifa enjoys travel, reading fiction, theater, hiking, yoga and exotic cuisines.
Tarifa is the Co-Chair of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles Junior Board of Directors.
Tarifa also acts as a liaison between Fulbright and Advocates for International Development ("A4ID"). A4ID is a United Kingdom charity born out of a desire within the legal community to institutionalize the commitment to international pro bono. A4ID draws together the skills and expertise of the legal profession to combat poverty and inequality of opportunity worldwide.
