EXPERIENCE

Steve Romero is a Senior Associate in Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.'s San Antonio office. His practice focuses on a variety of labor and employment and litigation matters.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
  • Assisting in the representation of employers in court proceedings and before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC)
  • Assisting in the representation of management in civil rights (including race, gender, national origin, disability, equal pay, harassment and retaliation), wrongful discharge, employment torts, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other employment-related charges and litigation
  • Assisting in the representation of clients in employment matters, from counseling of employees to advising employers on compliance matters
  • Assisting in the performance of supervisory training seminars, preparing and reviewing personnel handbooks and policies and advising clients regarding employee retention and termination
  • Served in the Comal County District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney (Attorney Loan Program), 2007
