Stacey Martinez, a partner in Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.'s Austin office, has been litigating cases for over 18 years. She has handled a wide variety of matters, including general negligence, contract disputes, bad faith matters, theft of trade secrets, enforceability of non-compete clauses, and medical malpractice defense.
Over the past several years, Stacey has focused her practice in the areas of pharmaceutical products liability, medical device products liability and vaccines and biologicals. She currently serves as a member of the National Coordinating Counsel team for a major international vaccine manufacturer and is part of the Texas trial team for a major pharmaceutical company. Throughout her career, Stacey has represented pharmaceutical/medical device companies, technology companies, hospitals, doctors, government agencies, insurance companies and construction companies, among others.

- Counsels a pharmaceutical company with respect to injuries allegedly sustained during clinical trials.
- Represented a pharmaceutical company against claims that the handling of chemotherapeutic agent caused birth defects.
- Represented a psychiatric hospital in several cases defending claims of fraud and false imprisonment.
- Represented a clinical laboratory against claims for failure to warn that certain foods could cause a positive drug test.
- Represented a medical device company defending claims that penile implants were defective.
- Represented a chemical manufacturer against claims that warehouse fire resulted in exposure to toxic chemicals causing multiple personal injuries.
- Represented a technology company defending a claim of theft of trade secrets.
- Represented a psychiatric hospital against a claim of sexual assault while hospitalized.
