Susan Farmer joined the London office of Fulbright & Jaworski International LLP as a partner in October 2007. She has more than 20 years’ experience in handling U.S. and international energy project development transactions, acquisitions and divestitures, with a focus on the international gas and LNG sector.
Susan represents clients in the energy, natural resources and electric power sectors in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of oil and gas and other natural resource project transactions, acquisitions and dispositions, as well as advising on the regulatory aspects of such transactions. In addition to many years of experience advising clients on a wide range of international upstream oil and gas and power generation matters, in the past decade Susan has advised clients involved in all segments of the international LNG market, including upstream feedgas suppliers, liquefaction and import terminal project developers, LNG sellers, LNG buyers, LNG ship owners, operators and charterers and regasified LNG offtakers in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the U.S. on joint venture and shareholder agreements, LNG sales and purchase agreements, LNG ship charter and transportation agreements and LNG import terminal use agreements.
Susan has also advised governments in the Middle East and Europe on the structuring and administration of tenders for private sector participation in the construction and operation of power and other energy infrastructure projects.
