Robert Hoffman joined Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. in 1986, and he is a partner practicing in the firm's Houston office. His practice focuses on family law, commercial litigation and entertainment matters. His family law practice includes divorce, child custody, child support, pre and post-marital agreements, paternity cases and other family law matters. Mr. Hoffman is certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. His entertainment law practice includes music contract negotiation and litigation, general artist and record company representation, acquisition of life story and movie rights, and copyright infringement. Mr. Hoffman also litigates general commercial and business disputes.

Mr. Hoffman has served as president, treasurer, and director of the Houston Bar Association's Family Law Section. Also, Mr. Hoffman is a frequent speaker at many state and local bar presentations.

He was named as a "Texas Super Lawyer" in Family Law in the November 2003 issue of Texas Monthly.

Mr. Hoffman received a B.A., with highest honors, in 1983 from The University of Texas and a J.D., cum laude, in 1986 from Baylor University. While in law school, he was Executive Editor of the Baylor Law Review. Mr. Hoffman was admitted to practice law in Texas in 1986.
