Robert S. Ballentine joined the Houston location of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. as Counsel in 1999. He focuses his practice on commercial and business litigation matters with particular emphasis on oil & gas and other energy litigation. He has significant experience representing natural gas pipeline companies and oil & gas operators in business disputes resolved through litigation, arbitration or administrative process.
Mr. Ballentine is a member of the Houston Bar Association and the Oklahoma Bar Association. He is a member of the Texas Bar Association's Litigation and Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law Sections, the Houston Bar Association's Litigation and Oil, Gas & Mineral Law Sections, and the Oklahoma Bar Association's Oil & Gas Section. He is a member of the Energy Bar Association and elected a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.

Mr. Ballentine is admitted to practice law in the states of Oklahoma and Texas. He also has been admitted to practice before the United States Districts Courts for the Southern, Northern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas and the Eastern District of Oklahoma, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Tenth Circuits, as well as the United States Supreme Court.
