Paul Blencowe has been engaged in the practice of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law for over twenty-five years. He represents clients involved in domestic and international acquisitions and in public and privately placed securities offerings. In addition, Paul advises companies on the legal aspects of capital raising and corporate growth strategies and on Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) compliance matters.
In recent years, Paul has represented a number of public and private companies in connection with their ongoing corporate and securities matters and prepared SEC filings for public equity and debt offerings. He has advised clients on contests for corporate control, including a successful contest involving a large publicly traded company. Paul has handled a number of significant acquisitions, representing purchasers, sellers, and financial partners in leveraged buyouts. He has been involved in the private placement of debt and equity securities for both established and start-up companies and has represented clients in connection with financial restructurings and secured debt.

At the University of Wisconsin, Paul was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi, and in law school he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Stanford Journal of International Law. Paul was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1979 and the State Bar of California in 1989.
