Mary Ellen Conway is practicing in the medical malpractice defense section of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.'s Houston office. She is focusing her practice on health issues but also has interests in equine international and media law. Prior to joining Fulbright & Jaworski, Ms. Conway was a nationally syndicated television news reporter. She has a strong science background and has covered stories ranging from medicine, space, business and politics to entertainment. Her medical reports were syndicated on ABC's NEWSONE service and seen both here and abroad. Her work has appeared on World News Tonight, Good Morning America, Nightline, CNN and the BBC. She has received numerous national, state and local awards for excellence in reporting. Ms.Conway is a contributor to Professional News Writing and she has spoken on topics ranging from health issues to journalism. She has also written and published the Ducks Unlimited Houston Chapter Cookbook. Ms. Conway received an S.B. in Economics and Labor Relations from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She received a J.D. from Boston University School of Law where she received a faculty appointment to the school's Silver Shingle Committee and was elected permanent class secretary.

Ms. Conway is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New York, Texas, and West Virginia, and before the federal court in the Southern District of New York.
