Luis joined Fulbright's Dallas office in 2007 as a senior associate. He focuses his practice on complex commercial matters and has litigated a wide range of disputes, including: breach of contract, misrepresentation, and fraud disputes; employment disputes; large consumer class actions; international disputes relating to offshore asset protection trust, Mareva Injunctions, and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; securities class actions and derivative lawsuits; environmental actions; bankruptcy-related matters; proceedings before the United States Federal Trade Commission and state regulatory authorities; internal audit committee investigations; and litigation due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.

- Counsel for a large retailer in a shareholder class action and derivative lawsuits involving a tender offer

- Counsel for a large healthcare company in multi-district litigation over payments to physicians and subscribers
- Counsel in an investigation by the United States Department of Justice into alleged price-fixing activities
