Jie Zhang focuses on international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, cross-border investments, structured finance and other international transactions, primarily involving the People's Republic of China.
Mr. Zhang started working in Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.'s Hong Kong office in May 2001. Previously, he worked in the firm's Washington, D.C. office in the international practice group. He is a native of Jiangsu Province, China. Before commencing his law practice, Mr. Zhang worked as a journalist in Beijing, China.
Mr. Zhang participates in the firm's representation of multinational and other clients, including oil and gas, chemical, telecommunications, transportation, freight forwarding and logistics, automotive and general manufacturing enterprises.

- Acquisition by a leading U.S.-based multinational transportation and logistics company of a China domestic transportation and logistics company
- Acquisition by a leading U.S. oilfield equipment and services provider of equity interests in multiple joint venture manufacturing facilities in China
