James D. Tussing is head of Fulbright's Equipment Finance Group and co-head of its Global Infrastructure Group. He focuses on equipment financing and represents commercial banks, investment banks, hedge funds, leasing companies and airlines in transactions in the United States and abroad, including Latin America, Asia and Europe. His practice includes debt and lease financings of equipment, as well as joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, workouts, reorganizations and litigation related to equipment financing. Mr. Tussing often lectures on equipment financing issues and has been appointed an arbitrator and expert witness on related matters. He has over thirty years of experience in aircraft financing.
Mr. Tussing joined the U.S. Civil Aeronautics Board in Washington, D.C. in 1976 and served as Trial Attorney and Senior Trial Attorney from 1977 to 1982. He has been in private practice in New York since 1982.
