John Tishbi joined the Los Angeles office of Fulbright & Jaworski in 2007. John focuses his practice on corporate and securities matters, and regularly advises clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, securities law compliance matters, private investment fund creation and management and complex business transactions. John's clients include individuals and companies conducting business in various industries including, but not limited to: mining, investment, technology, banking, media and energy.
Prior to joining Fulbright & Jaworski, John specialized in advising emerging private and public companies on matters relating to their ongoing corporate and financial development. John amassed substantial experience in advising such companies on most aspects of their businesses, including general corporate governance issues, compliance with SEC standards and regulations, capital raising transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
John also has notable experience in the areas of corporate bankruptcy and business and civil litigation.

John maintains a fierce allegiance to his hometown sports teams: the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Raptors.
