Bob Harrell is a partner in Fulbright & Jaworski's Houston office. Mr. Harrell concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation, primarily in the fields of securities, information technology, intellectual property and professional liability. Mr. Harrell has defended corporations and their directors and officers in a wide variety of matters, including shareholder suits, shareholder oppression claims and securities class actions.

Bob Owen is a partner in the New York office of Fulbright & Jaworski, co-heads the litigation group there, co-heads the firm’s E-Discovery and Information Management practice group, and is a member of the firm’s Litigation Committee. Bob has practiced commercial law in New York City since 1973 and has handled hundreds of cases before federal and state courts and arbitration panels throughout the United States. He is a frequent speaker on the subject of e-discovery and litigation hold notices. Bob teaches trial advocacy skills and has taught frequently at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s prestigious National Session in Boulder, Colorado.

Shahzad is a managing director and leads the Legal Business Consulting group. He offers more than 20 years of experience in Legal and Financial Consulting Services. Prior to joining Huron Consulting Group, Shahzad was a consulting partner at Arthur Andersen LLP. Shahzad assists law firms and law departments in improving their business performance by providing strategic consulting, process improvement and technology-related solutions. His experience includes developing legal eBusiness strategies, performing functional and departmental reviews, legal department structuring, benchmarking, performance measurement, lawyer utilization, streamlining processes, matter management, and law firm and legal department systems planning and implementation.

Carla Herron currently serves as head of litigation for Shell companies worldwide. She is responsible for significant litigation/disputes in the Royal Dutch/Shell group of companies, as well as group-wide litigation, risk management strategies and disclosure processes. Carla served as an adjunct professor of law University of Houston Law Center for 10 years and is a frequent speaker on topics related to litigation management.

A United States Magistrate Judge since 1990, Nancy Johnson is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education programs such as last fall’s “Saturday Morning in Court: Practice in Federal Court” on the operation of the federal civil trial process. Prior to her judicial service, she was an Assistant United States Attorney of the State of Texas and an Assistant Attorney General of the State of Ohio. She is a past president of the Houston chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
