On October 19, Texas Executive Women and their anchoring sponsor, The Houston Chronicle, presented Fulbright partner Shauna Johnson Clark with the Women On The Move award at its luncheon honoring the 2009 selections.

The Women On The Move awards began in 1985 as a means to celebrate the combined accomplishments of women in their professional and community activities. Each July, Texas Executive Women leaders, previous honorees and community representatives interview the top nominations and select the ten honorees. The process culminates in the Women On The Move luncheon. Proceeds benefit the Texas Executive Women Mentoring Program and the Texas Executive Women Scholarship Fund at the University of Houston C. T. Bauer College of Business.

Clark joined Fulbright in 1994 and became a partner at the end of 2002. As a member of the Fulbright’s labor & employment practice, she represents and counsels some of the world’s largest companies in all aspects of this critical area of the law.

A key member of Fulbright’s Women’s Initiative Steering Committee, Clark also actively participates in the Women’s Initiative Network, which creates networking opportunities between Fulbright women attorneys and women in corporate and community leadership roles.
