Fulbright Participates in Second Annual Legal Aid Training Program

Texas Access to Justice Commission chairman and Fulbright partner Jim Sales asked one of Fulbright's appellate partners to serve as course director for the 2006 Motions and Appellate Advocacy Academy held at the University of Texas’ Law School.
Designed to provide legal aid lawyers with top-quality, personalized training by experienced practitioners in their fields, the Motions and Appellate Advocacy Academy included critiques on briefs and oral arguments.
The Texas Supreme Court created TAJC to expand access to, and enhance the quality of, legal services provided to low-income Texans. TAJC’s chairperson Jim Sales is in the second year of his two-year term.
