Joe Small is the Partner-in-Charge of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.'s Washington, D.C., office. Mr. Small has extensive experience in both civil and criminal litigation matters. He has represented various companies, their officers and their employees in connection with government white collar criminal investigations and prosecutions. He also has extensive experience in the areas of export and trade regulation. Mr. Small frequently represents clients in enforcement and other proceedings regarding regulations promulgated by the Departments of Commerce, State, and Treasury.
Mr. Small served as a law clerk for the Honorable Samuel Conti of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California.
From 1969 to 1971, Mr. Small served as an officer in the United States Navy. He served in Seoul, Korea, as the Chinese Language Officer of the United Nations Command.
