Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.
Dan Pirolo, a senior associate in Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.'s Houston location, practices in the firm's Litigation section. He concentrates his practice in the area of complex business and commercial litigation, including securities litigation and enforcement, corporate governance litigation, government and internal investigations, and antitrust litigation. Dan first joined Fulbright in 2003, and after two years, served as a law clerk to the Honorable W. Eugene Davis on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He returned to Fulbright in 2006.
As well as experience litigating in both federal and state court, Dan has litigated appeals before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Federal Circuits. He has also counseled clients in a variety of mediation and arbitration proceedings.
Dan's litigation practice includes defending a large number of shareholder class and derivative actions asserting a wide range of claims against corporations, officers and directors, including litigation arising out of mergers, acquisitions, going-private transactions and proxy contests. As part of his securities litigation practice, he has counseled clients involved in government enforcement proceedings before federal, state and self-regulatory authorities, as well as conducted internal investigations for corporations, audit committees and special committees.
His litigation practice also includes counseling clients involved in antitrust and intellectual property litigation, including actions involving Sherman Act claims, patent infringement claims and hybrid Walker Process claims.
