EXPERIENCE

Adrian Patterson is a Senior Associate in Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.'s Houston office. He practices in the area of public finance, acting as bond counsel, underwriters counsel and disclosure counsel for both general obligation and revenue bonds for cities, counties, school districts, state agencies, hospitals, special districts, municipal water and sewer systems and airports. 

Adrian also has experience acting as counsel to banks providing credit and liquidity support for tax-exempt financings for municipal, healthcare and school district borrowers. 

In addition, Adrian represents political subdivisions with respect to numerous public law issues, including compliance reviews, elections, the Open Meetings Act and the Public Information Act.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

Among other transactions, he has represented clients:

  • As bond counsel for more than $1 billion of general obligation bonds for cities and counties
  • As bond counsel for more than $1 billion in revenue bonds for cities and counties
  • As disclosure counsel for more than $1 billion in revenue bonds for a variety of financings including a municipal airport system, utility system, and certain special districts
  • As underwriters counsel for more than $1 billion in revenue bonds issued by cities, counties, state agencies, special districts and a transit authority
